What does it mean to take a leap? Since 1974, ROCAM, born as a small Italian artisanal company, has managed to build, reinvent and renew itself with passion and dedication, becoming a leading player in the global HO.RE.CA. market.

At ROCAM, we do not see the milestone of half a century of activity as a finish line, but as a springboard to become increasingly competitive and cutting-edge, creating excellence to bring value to your projects.
The ‘70s
ROCAM came to life in a basement in the Milanese hinterland in April 1974, thanks to an intuition of the founder Ezio Rastelli. The economic boom of those years and the growing number of canteens, bars and restaurants created the need for fast and convenient meal distribution during work lunch breaks, leading to the birth of our first service trolley in steel, entirely handmade.

The ‘80s
In the 1980s, ROCAM's production extended to solid wood trolleys and thermal trolleys for hot meal distribution. Moreover, the high demand for its products throughout the national territory made it necessary to expand the production site, which was moved to a factory in Abbiategrasso (MI).

The ‘90s
These were the years of designing and producing the first line of hot and cold buffets. Thanks to its constant presence at the most important international trade fairs in the sector, ROCAM significantly increased its presence in Europe as well.

The 2000s
In 2008, the company moved to its current headquarters in Albairate (MI), occupying an area of 5,000 square meters entirely dedicated to production and storage. With this new expansion, our range has been enriched with increasingly efficient and innovative solutions.

The 2010s
During the 2010s, ROCAM engaged in intense research and development, which led to the creation of the innovative DROP-IN and OMNIA lines. These lines represent versatility and customization, offering tailor-made solutions to meet different needs and preferences.

In the 2020s, ROCAM underwent a transformative upgrade of its machinery fleet, embracing cutting-edge technologies such as gas charging, Industry 4.0 automation, fiber laser cutting, and next-generation vertical and horizontal milling machines. These innovations represent a significant milestone as ROCAM continues to lead the industry with revolutionary advancements.
